FAQ

The day before, we welcome you and your officiant for your wedding rehearsal; you may also drop off any decor at this time if you wish.

On day of your wedding, you and/or your wedding planner will have access to the wedding spaces a couple of hours ahead of the ceremony. Later in the afternoon, surrounded by all your guests and loved ones in our beautiful forest setting, you and your partner will declare "I do!"

Your ceremony is followed by a cocktail reception on the Cider Patio overlooking the orchard and Salish Sea. This is the perfect time to take photos with your photographer around the property.

The party starts! Your reception will be held in our stunning Farmhouse Pavilion, with food, drinks, cake, dancing and any other special touches you've arranged. After a fantastic day of celebration, you and your guests depart by 10pm (unless an extended time package is selected).

We can do events from 2 to 120! We are the perfect place for everything from small intimate elopements up to "can't leave anyone out" weddings.

We can accommodate most budgets, with small intimate weddings on a weekday starting at a few hundred dollars, or a wedding of 50 guests on a Saturday in the high season starting at around $7600. Our packages typically include the use of three wedding venues: the magical Forest Stumpery for your ceremony; the Orchard Patio with views of the Salish Sea for cocktail hour; and our stunning Farmhouse Pavilion for your reception. Also included is event-dedicated staff and cider for your guests throughout your event. Hosted bar and drink tickets, decor packages, and additional event hours are available as add-ons, and we have many options to customize further. We offer catering options to suit every couple’s vision, from elegant dinners to more casual celebrations. Pricing can vary depending on menu selections and specific requests, but catering typically starts at around $60 + tax per person. Our catering partners also offer menu tastings so couples can explore their options.

For couples looking for a more relaxed dining experience, we partner with a pizza catering service that offers delicious artisan-style pizzas your guests will love, with pricing starting at around $30 + tax per person.

Not to worry! We offer a rain package that includes umbrellas, 10×10 tents for the Orchard Patio, heaters, and blankets to keep everyone comfortable. If the weather is heavier, we also have the option of moving the cocktail hour to the Pavilion to ensure your celebration continues smoothly.

Yes! Our venue includes rustic benches and chairs for the ceremony, low tables with silver chairs for cocktail hour, and rustic tables with silver chairs for the dinner reception.

Unfortunately, no outside food and alcohol are not permitted. To ensure food safety and compliance with event regulations, we require all catering to be provided by certified caterers, and we work with exclusive partners who can accommodate a wide range of menus and dietary needs.

Regarding alcohol, our provincial licensing regulations require that all alcoholic beverages served on the property be supplied and managed by Sea Cider under our liquor license. This ensures responsible service and compliance with local regulations while maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Dogs are allowed in all outdoor spaces of our farm, including the Orchard Patio, Forest Stumpery ceremony space, tasting room courtyard, and orchard. Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs to be present inside service areas, such as the Pavilion and Ciderhouse, due to Food Safety standards. Service dogs are allowed in all areas. 

We would love to welcome you to our beautiful farm so you can experience the magic of Sea Cider. During your visit, you’ll explore our ceremony and reception spaces, including the Mirror Room, Forest Stumpery, Orchard Patio, and Pavilion, and imagine how your special day could unfold.

Your visit also includes a sit-down meeting with our Event Sales Specialist to review your personalized proposal, answer your questions, and discuss any adjustments to match your vision. We finish the experience with a flight tasting of our handcrafted ciders, so you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the farm.
