Stop 8: The Forest
The Forest has intentionally been kept in pristine condition throughout Sea Cider’s history. The forest plays several important roles on our farm:
- A windbreak for the orchard habitat for mason bees, which are indigenous bees that pollinate our orchard
- Helping to manage soil moisture by absorbing excess rain during the winter and preventing waterlogging from sudden rainstorms in the summer
- Helping moderate the micro-climate on the farm
- A magical ceremony space for weddings, which happen every weekend during the high season
Feel free to wander down the forest path and immerse yourself in the natural beauty!

Did you know ...
The largest tree in our forest is more than 200 years old! We have several Grand fir trees in our forest, and every year we crush these fir needles to add to our Wolf in the Woods cider, giving citrus and pine notes that provide a beautiful accent to the cider aromas.
