Sea Cider Returns to “Artifact or Artifiction” at Royal BC Museum – Oct. 6

Walk the red carpet and put your trivia intellect to the test at this exciting gala fundraising game! Now in its seventh year, Artifact or Artifiction matches wits between party-goers and museum curators, collections managers and archivists. Twenty peculiar artifacts from the Royal BC Museum collections – and 20 even stranger tales about the items’ origins – are displayed throughout the gallery spaces. Your task: decipher fact from fiction by determining which stories are tall-tales and which are truths.

Emceed by Tony Parsons, anchor of CHEK News and CBC News Vancouver, this don’t-miss event will feature a delectable roving buffet of fresh local ingredients; select BC beer, wine and cider; and a chance to win fantastic Grand prizes.

Last year, net proceeds from Artifact or Artifiction came in at over $90,000! The funds raised went to support the travelling exhibition “Aliens Among Us”, currently making its way across British Columbia.
