Sea Cider Presents: APPLE DAY – Sunday, September 27

On September 27th, 2009 Sea Cider invites everyone to celebrate our favourite fruit – the apple! 

Come enjoy our organic orchard and join us in appreciation of the apple at harvest time. Taste the goodness of the apple in its many delicious forms. From “Humble Apple Crumble”, created by Chef Steve Walker-Duncan of Ambrosia Catering,  to apple pizza,… yes, apple pizza, to, of course, apple cider, there will be plenty to nibble and sip at Apple Day. For those with thirsty ears we’ll have live music to enjoy while you drink in the view of the sea from our Ciderhouse.

Our special guests will be our friends at  Pizzeria Prima Strada who will bring their new mobile wood-fired pizza oven to Sea Cider and also Devon McCagherty and Ken Hall of  The Stomp Club who will swing in the early afternoon. We’ll also crown the winners of our apple photo contest. We look forward to seeing everyone between 11 am and 6 pm.
