Sea Cider at Feast of Fields – Parry Bay Sheep Farm, Metchosin, Sept. 19th


 

Come and join Sea Cider at the 13th annual Feast of Fields at Parry Bay Sheep Farm in Metchosin on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 1-5 p.m.

As one of the largest and longest-standing food and wine festivals on Vancouver Island, Feast of Fields celebrates the very best of British Columbia- from chefs to food artisans, farmers to forgers, and vintners to brewers from around the Island.

This year’s Feast of Fields is 22 kilometres west of Victoria on the rolling hills of Parry Bay Sheep Farm. John and Lorraine Buchanan have been practicing sustainable farming in Metchosin since the early 1980’s. Parry Bay Sheep Farm has over 300 ewes that can be seen roaming the farms’ pastures for nine months of the year.
