Saanichton, BC – June 28, 2018 – Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse is thrilled to announce that their estate grown cider Bittersweet, has taken home the top prize of Best of Show at the 6th annual Portland International Cider Cup (PICC).

Portland International Cider Cup, in its 6th annual year, is organized by the Northwest Cider Association (NWCA) and celebrates ciders crafted in the Pacific Northwest. The competition was hosted in North Portland at the Laguintas Community Room, on June 27, 2018. Having grown exponentially over the past 6 years, the competition showcased 16 cideries and almost 170 ciders from British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. These ciders are then divided into 19 categories, where judges found ciders in 16 categories worthy of gold medals. The gold medal winners then go on to compete in the Best of Show round, where the head judges from each table found Bittersweet to be the overall winner.
