It’s November and we’re ‘racking’ our cider!
In the cidermaking world this is the time of the year that we start ‘racking’ our freshly fermented cider bases. ‘Racking’ simply means that we are moving our brew from our primary fermentation tank to another tank, leaving all the sediment behind.
So, all November, when you tell us what ‘racking’ means during your visit to the ciderhouse, we’ll toss in a free short-flight with your tasting and cider purchases.
